It arrived yesterday and I immediately took it out for an 18 hole test drive. I recently picked up a 9 degree stiff shaft x Its a very straight club but its seems like my distance was lacking and my ball just kind of floated with a soft landing. Also shop in Also shop in. With my oldI was averaging yards off the tee. The shaft is a 60g Fujikura mid kick regular flex graphite with a Winn grip in very good condition.

Club is in good condition with wear from normal use, no major dings or scrapes. It is not just when I hit a ball though it is all the time as if something is broken off inside the club head. Most of my tee shots were either topped or low line drives.
Black seems to make the clubhead appear smaller. I had trouble on callasay front nine getting the ball in the air. I am straight to a slight draw with my 3w and 5w both Taylor series.

Callaway by Fujikura 60g regular flex graphite shaft. When compared to the FT-3, the X does have a more solid feel at impact.
Will a new sole and an extra six cubic centimeters make the X that much better than the Big Bertha ? So what could Callaway possibly do to improve on the already popular and, more importantly, does the X pass the grade?
The stock shaft on the standard model is a Fujikura 64g model made for the X while the Tour model has the Fujikura TING … first drive went uphill.
Other than the gloss black paint job, you would hardly notice much of a difference at address x60 to the Callaway X Tour Driver 9. It is a great club and let my 17 hadicap friend have a slog with it on a few holes.
The ting sound very goodcompared to the other clubs. I have the tour version of this club and i think its fantastic and it didn’t break the Bank paying for it.

I bought the X Tour model because I wanted a fair comparison with my FT-3 Tour but the first thing I noticed about my driver was the closed face. Your review title You must enter a title.
