Best PC Keyboard: The Vintage IBM Model “M” Keyboard
I’m tempted to go for the trackball model even though I’m happy with my wireless mouse. One day I’ll get one of those unicomps with the clit mouse.
The Model M keyboard has simply not evolved very much. I think that using keyboard shortcuts for many commands I issue may actually be quicker that turning on my wireless mouse and navigating to a some little box to click onscreen. What I’m looking for is a keyboard for typing to introduce mechanical keyboards to a friend, not for me, so has to not look like the Chicony.
Suggestions for budget mechanical keyboard?
My own approach to getting a cheap mechanical keyboard has been to ask my work colleagues to keep a look out for older keyboards with the promise of me buying them a few pints if they find me a mechanical one.

Posted Sun Mar 16, 2: They are both known as clicky keyboards but the model F is clickier louder and more satisfying to use- my typing speed and accuracy is much improved and it’s easier and fun to type Atariage posts on.
